About Robert
Robert, who was awarded a BSc(Hons) Degree from the University of Lincoln for Acupuncture, based on the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is also a qualified Reflexologist, Reiki Master, Hopi Ear candle therapist and has qualifications in Massage including; Swedish, Hot Stones and Indian Head. He is a Member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and is insured to teach and practice the therapies in which he is qualified.
Robert began his training in 2003, with his first experience of complementary and holistic therapies being Reiki. He used Reiki to counter the stresses of a busy and demanding working environment in the Royal Navy, which after 35 years he retired from to take up his studies at the University of Lincoln , where his range of qualifications culminated in a Science Degree. Robert considers the 35 gap-years between leaving school and going to University well spent. In addition to his practitioner qualifications he holds a Certificate in Further Education Teaching and a First Aid Certificate.
